The 2nd annual edition of West Africa’s largest power, construction and infrastructure event came to an end on 19th November in Abuja, Nigeria.

Over 200 delegates, 13 sponsors, 75 exhibitors and 1500 visitors joined us for the 2nd annual edition of Nigeria Infrastructure Forum & Exhibition.

We would like to thank Dr. Hassan Muhammad Lawal, Honourable Minister of Works, Housing and Urban Development, who came representing H.E. Goodluck Jonathan, Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the members of our esteemed Steering Committee, as well as all distinguished speakers and participants.

On the agenda at this year’s two day conference and PPP seminar were presentations and case studies about a variety of important issues and projects, including:

* The roadmap to Vision 2020

* Opportunities and challenges in Nigerian infrastructure

* An update on new and existing projects in power, road, rail, and water

* New city development projects, such as Greater Port Harcourt to name only one

* Legal and regulatory frameworks

* Project finance

* A focused, in-depth PPP seminar to round off the conference

The impressive speaker line up included renowned private and public sector speakers, allowing for a successful and engaging dialogue on the way forward, tackling challenges and succeeding in the implementation of the ambitious mid- and long-term goals. Among the renowned speakers were Prof. Bart Nnaji from Geometric Power, discussing the Aba Power Project, Onno Ruhl from the World Bank, Engr. Mansur Ahmed from the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC) and Dr. David Ige from NNPC, presenting updates on the Gas Master Plan.
