“QUEEN IN L.A.” starring Ify Hollywood, it’s about human trafficking, full of deception and abuse, this is an awareness and informative movie, as QUEEN takes her past life into present. It will capture viewer’s attention. from the beginning to the end.
Synopsis
Queen is a young woman who had a traumatic experience in her early years while living with her Uncle in the United States. She was raped by her uncle who later denied it when confronted by his wife, and that led Queen to move out of the house. As a result of the abuse, she began to have psychological problems and depression, causing her to live a life of deception which drove her into the “human trafficking” business. Queen takes her anxiety, and expresses it through manipulating young women and men who were promised the American dream, but when they arrived, she forces them into prostitution, being drug carriers, and various life threatening situations. For those who rebel, they were punished with multiple beatings, risk of being reported to immigration, and in worst case scenario, were killed.
